Curriculum

Gain a greater understanding of exposure, natural and artificial light and all the tools that can help you confidently shape it
We’ll chat through DSLR and mirrorless cameras as well as lenses that best suit your subject matter and tools to make sessions go smoothly
Utilizing compositional “rules”, shooting angles, and tips for more effective cropping, framing, and balance
We’ll chat about selecting props and backdrops to best suit your subject as well as tips for styling through a session
Giving your work a unified look and feel helps you stand out in the field and i’m going to share my favorite method for identifying what you like and beginning to incorporate it into your work
Taking a good photo is just the start of making breathtaking images. Being able to confidently edit and polish your work so it looks its best is an art form of its own
For our final chapter we’ll discuss working with clients, planning a session, building your portfolio, and how to use social media to get new eyes on your work. I’ve also included my thoughts on how and why to add a little magic to your work

No, while many of my courses are available both here and on Skillshare, the comprehensive Product & Food Photography Course is available exclusively here on my site.
Only the Product & Food Photography Course gets you access to the private community.
The pre-recorded video content is largely the same content from that course, but the need to attend live sessions has been removed and the price has been dramatically reduced from the original $500 price tag.
In the near future I plan on offering live sessions to complement this course, but they will be a separate offering. This is to keep this course both affordable and valuable to everyone regardless of time zone or schedule.
